LASU Senate Clears 1524 Graduating Students

The results of 1524 graduating students have been approved by the Lagos State University (LASU) Senate, and there will be more results soon.

The 1524 graduating students whose final year results were approved by the Lagos State University Senate on Thursday, July 7, 2022, can now move online to start their final year clearance because their profiles now display “Graduated.”

Since the department is the first level of clearance in the Graduating Students Clearance Workflow, the DICT has instructed department heads to regularly verify their web portals.

It is advised that graduating students wait to submit their results to the university Senate if their profiles do not yet indicate that they have graduated.

This change will result in the immediate mobilization of cleared graduating students for the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), and graduates will be able to get their credentials within a few weeks after completing their final year exams at the institution.

Additionally, it is required that all undergraduate students who have been accepted into Lagos State University (LASU) for the 2021–2022 academic session and who have attained a clearance status of 100% on the LACACA portal print the Admission Clearance Certificate for the 2021–2022 Academic Session as soon as possible.

After receiving clearance, students were given Matriculation Numbers, which would now act as their portals; admissions, payment, and other service portals were updated to reflect this change.

Students must undertake these steps in order to get their matriculation number:

  • Go to https://www.lasu.edu.ng to access the LASU website.
  • Click the “STUDENT” menu and choose “CHECK MATRIC NUMBER.”
  • On the resulting page, type your JAMB UTME registration number.
  • By clicking SUBMIT, you may see your matriculation number.
  • For more information and the location of lectures, newly admitted students are urged to visit their departments.
