No matter their nationality, state of origin, tribe, sex, religion, or social standing, all newly admitted undergraduate and direct entry students, as well as those being considered for admission to First Technical University, Ibadan in the 2022 admission cycle, are invited to apply for the Josephus Foundation Scholarship.
Through the generosity of the University Chancellor, Chief (Dr.) Tunde Afolabi, MFR, the Josephus Foundation has granted a highly selective scholarship. It is a component of the institution’s support services for students who are extraordinarily talented but impoverished and might not otherwise be able to afford university tertiary education.
The scholarship is a partial scholarship that only covers tuition and housing costs; the beneficiaries are still responsible for a one-time payment of other municipal and service fees as listed in the undergraduate students’ schedule of fees, which is available on the university website under the heading “Tech-U Ibadan School Fees Schedule.”
Every year, the Scholarship will be made available to newly admitted (UTME, JUPEB, and direct entry) students, and it may be kept for the duration of the recipient’s program of study if they perform satisfactorily.
